Feedback and Bug Reporting

Scholarly makes it easy to share feedback on AI-generated content and report issues you encounter. Your input directly helps improve the quality of the platform.

Giving Feedback on AI Content

When viewing AI-generated content like video lectures or podcasts, you can rate and give feedback directly from the content page.

  • Thumbs up / Thumbs down -- Quick rating to tell us if the output was helpful.
  • Written feedback -- Add a short note explaining what was good or what could be improved.

Feedback is available on:

  • AI Video Lectures
  • AI Podcasts

This helps the AI improve over time and helps the team prioritize quality fixes.

Reporting Bugs

Click the Report Bug button in the top navigation bar to report issues you find. Describe what happened, what you expected, and any steps to reproduce the problem.

You can also reach the team directly at [email protected].

Flashcard Quality Reporting

When studying flashcards, you can report low-quality cards using the built-in issue presets. Open the card editor and use the report option to flag:

  • Incorrect answers
  • Unclear questions
  • Duplicate content
  • Missing information

Reported cards are reviewed and used to improve AI flashcard generation.

Tips

  • The more specific your feedback, the more useful it is. "The answer on card 3 is wrong" is more helpful than "bad cards."
  • Bug reports with steps to reproduce are resolved faster.
  • Feedback on video lectures and podcasts helps improve narration, pacing, and accuracy.
