Laureate Creations and Chat
Scholarly Laureate is the individual plan for people who need more room to create and want our most capable models for their highest-stakes work. It includes everything in Premium, provides 80 AI Creation Credits each week, and lets you spend that allowance on whichever model a piece of work deserves.
What Laureate includes
- 80 AI Creation Credits every week.
- Unlimited AI Chat across the Chat model roster, including Claude Sonnet 5 and Kimi K3.
- The full creation-model catalog, including GPT 5.6 Sol and Claude Opus 5.
- Gemini 3.8 Flash with medium reasoning for flashcards.
- Unlimited uploads up to 1 GB per file.
- PDF-to-flashcards support for PDFs up to 3,000 pages.
- 12 hours of voice chat per day.
- Priority support from the Scholarly team and early access to newly launched Frontier models.
Personal Laureate is available as a monthly subscription. The exact model catalog changes over time as new models launch and older models are replaced.
One weekly creation allowance
Your 80 weekly creations are a single balance, and what each creation costs depends on the model you pick:
- Most models cost 1 AI Creation Credit.
- Claude Sonnet 5 and Kimi K3 cost 2 creations each. Both carry a
2×badge in creation pickers. - GPT 5.6 Sol and Claude Opus 5 cost 3 creations each. Both carry a
3×badge beside their name in the model picker.
So the same allowance stretches to 80 creations on 1× models, and to fewer when you choose a 2× or 3× model.
A completed flashcard deck with fewer than 15 cards does not use a creation at all.
When the week's allowance runs out, you can buy a one-time credit pack and keep working — see AI Creation Credit Packs.
Chat access
AI Chat is unlimited on Laureate. There is no message count, and nothing you send in Chat comes out of your 80 weekly creations. Sonnet and Kimi remain ordinary Chat choices even though they carry a 2× weight in creation tools.
GPT 5.6 Sol and Claude Opus 5 are not available in unlimited Chat. They are creation models — you pick them from the model selector on an AI Creation Credit or in Deep Research, where they cost 3 AI Creation Credits.
In-progress work and failed creations
Scholarly checks your remaining balance before a creation starts, using the cost of the model you picked. Once admitted, the creation is allowed to finish; it is never stopped halfway through because another tab used the last of the allowance.
In-progress work is reserved so concurrent tabs cannot overspend. If a creation fails before completing, every credit it reserved returns to your balance automatically.
Resets
- Your weekly creation allowance resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC.
- Unused creations do not roll over.
- Purchased credits are untouched by the reset — a fresh week is always spent before them.
Once the 80 creations are gone, further creations wait for the reset unless you have credits to draw on.
