Team Billing and Seats

Teams is billed per seat. The checkout shows the exact plan, quantity, cadence, and total before payment.

The prices below are the fixed USD price points. In supported markets, Stripe checkout can charge the current equivalent amount in local currency; there is no lower country-specific Teams tier.

Pricing

Premium for Teams

  • Monthly: $35 per seat each month.
  • Yearly: $336 per seat each year, equivalent to $28 per month.

Laureate for Teams

  • Monthly: $110 per seat each month.
  • Yearly: $1,056 per seat each year, equivalent to $88 per month.
  • Minimum: 1 seat. Self-serve up to 29.

Each active seat includes that plan plus team workspace features. Buying more seats adds members, not a shared credit balance.

Manage the subscription

Owners and admins open Team → Billing & usage → Manage billing to use the Stripe portal for supported actions:

  • Change the paid seat quantity.
  • Update the payment method.
  • Download invoices and receipts.
  • Review renewal and cancellation details.

The Team page distinguishes active, purchased, available, and pending seats. Removing a member frees their seat; a pending invitation reserves one until it is accepted, revoked, or expires.

Personal subscriptions

Team checkout does not mutate the buyer's personal plan record. If a member has a stronger personal plan, Scholarly uses it as their effective plan. Contact hello@scholarly.so if you need help with overlapping subscriptions.
