Quick answer

How do you transcribe a lecture for studying?

Upload or record the lecture audio in Scholarly. The transcript becomes searchable, then Scholarly structures it into study notes and active-recall materials so you are not stuck reading raw text.

Exam review

Output

Best for

Students who need more than a raw transcription file.

Lecture transcription should lead to studying

A transcript is useful for search, but it can still be too long to review. Scholarly adds the next step: organize and convert the transcript into things you can study.

Built for academic language

Lecture transcription needs to preserve terminology, examples, formulas, and context. Scholarly is optimized around class material instead of generic meeting notes.

Use transcripts as source material

Once the lecture is transcribed, you can ask questions, create a study guide, or generate flashcards from the exact lecture content.
