Direct answer
Can AI write a quiz in Polish from a PDF?
Yes. Upload the PDF, notes or deck, set the output language to Polish, and choose question types and difficulty. Scholarly writes the questions, answer options and explanations in Polish, and each explanation points to the passage it came from.
- What goes in: PDFs, notes, slide decks, pasted text and other files in your library, including scanned pages.
- What comes out: Multiple choice, true/false, short-answer and fill-in-the-blank questions with explanations, plus full-length practice tests on paid plans.
- How Polish is handled: Questions, options and explanations are written in Polish, whatever language the source is in. Polish narration is spoken by a multilingual speech model that is told to speak Polish, so it does not have to guess between similar languages such as Czech and Slovak.
- What each plan gets: Free can generate quizzes and answer 5 lifetime practice questions. Paid plans unlock unlimited practice, longer sources and full-length practice tests.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can my source be in English and the output in Polish?
Yes. The source and the output do not have to share a language. Upload an English PDF, deck or recording, set the output language to Polish in the creation panel, and the script, text and narration are written in Polish. Leave the setting on Auto and Scholarly follows the language of the source instead.
Why does Polish use a different speech model?
The main speech engine has no Polish setting, so Scholarly sends Polish to a multilingual model and names the language explicitly. Without that, the engine would have to guess between similar languages such as Czech and Slovak.
Is the Polish quiz generator free?
You can start free: Free accounts generate quizzes and answer 5 lifetime practice questions in Polish. Paid plans unlock unlimited practice, longer sources and full-length practice tests.
Which question types can I get in Polish?
Multiple choice, true/false and short answer, plus fill-in-the-blank questions in study and exam modes. All of them, including the explanations, are written in Polish.
Is Scholarly's interface available in Polish?
Not yet. The app itself is in English or Japanese, but what you create can be in Polish: pick it once as your default output language in Settings, or per creation in the language row of the creation panel.
