From source to printed deck in three steps
Upload your material, let AI write the cards, and print a clean deck you can study anywhere.
Step 1: Upload Material
Upload your study content to create printable flashcards. PDFs, textbooks, notes, or any learning material works perfectly for printing.
Step 2: Generate Cards
Our AI creates printable flashcards optimized for physical study. Clean, readable format perfect for printing on standard paper.
Step 3: Print & Study
Download your printable flashcards in PDF format, print them at home or school, and study offline anywhere you want.
Built for clean, study-ready printouts
Every deck is formatted for real paper, real scissors, and real revision sessions.
Print-ready PDF format
Download a clean PDF formatted for standard paper, ready to print at home or a print shop with no extra setup.
Double-sided layout
Questions on the front, answers on the reverse — print double-sided and cut into a working deck in minutes.
Any source format
Start from a PDF, pasted text, an image, a YouTube video, or a website. The cards come out the same clean way.
Standard card sizing
Cards are laid out at sensible, consistent sizes so they cut evenly and stack into a tidy physical deck.
Concept-first cards
AI writes cards that test understanding and relationships, not rote trivia like page numbers or sample sizes.
Study online too
Prefer a screen later? The same deck lives in your Scholarly workspace for digital review and spaced repetition.
Why physical flashcards still win for some students
Printable flashcards give you a screen-free way to revise. Writing nothing, flipping a card, and recalling the answer is a clean, distraction-free loop that many students retain better than scrolling an app.
Because the deck is a real object, you can spread cards across a desk, sort them into known and unknown piles, and quiz a study partner without passing a phone around. That tactile sorting is itself a form of active recall.
Scholarly writes the cards for you so the only manual work is printing and cutting. Each card is grounded in your own material — your lecture PDF, your notes, your video — so you are revising your real syllabus, not generic content.
And nothing is locked to paper. Every printable deck also lives in your Scholarly workspace, so you can review it digitally, run a quiz on the same source, or chat with the material whenever you have a screen handy.
