Slides are not edited in place in Scholarly. Choose the length before you generate: 5 to 30 slides on paid plans, and 10 on Free. To change the structure, wording, or style, regenerate with custom instructions (for example "add a slide on X") and the AI rebuilds the deck from your PDF. On a paid plan you can also download the deck as a .pptx file or save it to Google Slides; each slide comes through as its rendered visual, so you can reorder slides and add your own around them. The .pptx keeps each slide's speaker notes.

Yes. Connect Google Drive to your Scholarly account, then choose Save to Google Slides from the Export menu on a paid plan. Scholarly creates a separate copy of the deck in your Drive that you can open in Google Slides straight away; the original stays in Scholarly. If Drive is not connected yet, the menu shows a Connect Google Drive option first.

The number you pick, not the number of pages. Premium and Laureate choose 5 to 30 slides (new decks start at 15); Free decks are 10 slides. A 60-page lecture PDF at 15 slides becomes a summary deck, so choose a longer deck or a narrower page range when you need more detail.
