How it works

Stop redoing workbook problems by hand

Turn the time you spend copying the same practice problems into a notebook into time spent recalling them.

  1. 01

Upload your textbook and practice drills

Financial accounting, cost accounting, or theory. A workbook assigned by your school or a commercial textbook both work.

  2. 02

Turn journal entry conditions into cards

Accounts, debits and credits, accruals and deferrals, and cost accounting steps become fill-in-the-blank and short-answer questions.

  3. 03

Review only the patterns you missed

Go back to the topics you got wrong, such as mixing up accounts receivable and advances received.

What you can do

In bookkeeping, your score grows with every problem you work through

Reading explanations alone won't make it stick. The real exam tests whether you can recall the journal entry from the conditions given.

Journal entry flashcards

Cards that ask for the accounts and the debit and credit sides from a transaction description, built from your own examples.

Theory and calculation practice

Practise allowances, depreciation, and job order costing with the numerical examples from your textbook.

Ask about entries you don't understand

Get answers to questions like "Why is this a credit?" in the words of the explanations you uploaded.

Why your own workbook

Boki problems follow the patterns of the examples you study

Generic journal entry drills can differ from the numbers and account classifications your course uses.

Grade 2 cost accounting is about mastering procedures. Breaking down your textbook's examples helps you respond to similar questions on the real exam.

After you pass, you can use the same materials at work to explain trial balances and costs.

FAQ

About Nissho Boki exam prep

Can I use it for Grades 3 through 1?

Yes. There is no question bank for each grade. Cards and questions are created from the scope of the textbook you upload.

Does it handle problems that require a calculator?

It can turn your calculation steps into text and cards. It is not a simulator with the same time limit as the real exam. Use it to prepare before you work problems by hand.

Can I start with cost accounting only?

Upload separate files or chapters, and you can keep financial accounting and cost accounting in separate decks.

Can I try it for free?

Yes. Start with one chapter on journal entries. No credit card required.

Start with the Boki textbook you have now

Before you copy anything out by hand, upload the workbook you already have.
