Can AI make flashcards in Polish from my notes?

Direct answer

Can AI make flashcards in Polish from my notes?

Yes. Upload the material, set the output language to Polish, and Scholarly writes question-and-answer cards from it in Polish. Review and edit the deck, then study it with SM-2 spaced repetition in Scholarly.

  • Free plan: One lifetime AI Creation Credit and one upload (up to 8 MB; the first 32 pages of a PDF are read), enough for one Polish deck studied with SM-2 spaced repetition. Anki export is paid. No credit card.
  • Paid plans: Premium ($30/mo in US dollars, lower local prices in some countries) includes 15 AI Creation Credits a week, uploads up to 300 MB and Anki export. Laureate ($99/mo) includes 80 credits a week.
  • What goes in: PDFs, typed or handwritten notes, images, slide decks, website links, YouTube videos or pasted text.
  • What comes out: An editable deck with a question on the front and a grounded answer on the back, studied with SM-2 spaced repetition. Anki export is on paid plans.
  • How Polish is handled: Cards are written in Polish, whether the source is in Polish or in English. To learn Polish itself, upload your own vocabulary list or course chapter and the cards come from it. Narration is spoken by a multilingual voice that is told to speak Polish, so it does not have to guess between similar languages such as Czech and Slovak.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can my source be in English and the output in Polish?

Yes. The source and the output do not have to share a language. Upload an English PDF, deck or recording, set the output language to Polish in the creation panel, and the script, text and narration are written in Polish. Leave the setting on Auto and Scholarly follows the language of the source instead.

Can the narration confuse Polish with Czech or Slovak?

Not when you pick Polish: the narrator is told to speak Polish by name instead of guessing from the text. Under Auto, Polish prose is recognised from its letters and common words and named to the narrator the same way.

Is the Polish flashcard maker free?

You can try it free: the Free plan includes one AI Creation Credit and one upload of up to 8 MB. Premium includes 15 AI Creation Credits a week, larger uploads and Anki export.

Can I use it to learn Polish?

Yes, from your own material. Upload the vocabulary list, textbook chapter or class notes you are studying and the cards are written from it, so the deck matches your course. Scholarly does not ship a ready-made Polish course or word list.

Is Scholarly's interface available in Polish?

Not yet. Scholarly's interface is available in ⁨English (US)⁩, ⁨English (UK)⁩, ⁨Deutsch⁩, ⁨Español (España)⁩, ⁨Español (Latinoamérica)⁩, ⁨Français⁩, ⁨日本語⁩, ⁨한국어⁩, ⁨Nederlands⁩, ⁨Português (Brasil)⁩, ⁨简体中文⁩, ⁨العربية⁩, ⁨Italiano⁩ and ⁨Türkçe⁩, but what you create can be in Polish whichever interface language you use: pick it once as your default output language in Settings, or per creation in the language row of the creation panel.
