By Scholarly
5 min read
The past few weeks have been quite busy for Scholarly. We've been working on a lot of new features and improvements. Let's take a look at what's new.
PDF Improvements
PDFs have always been at the core of Scholarly. Many of our current users joined Scholarly in order to convert their PDFs into flashcards. We've been working hard to improve the PDF experience and make it easier to use.
Intuitive PDF Viewer
We've completely redesigned the PDF viewer to be more intuitive and easier to use. We've also added a new empty state to help you get started with PDFs. You can now directly move pages, rotate the PDF, and view the PDF much easier. We've also added a new page indicator to help you keep track of where you are in the PDF.
The PDF Viewer now has the following features:
- Page Indicator: You can now see what page you're on in the PDF.
- Page Navigation: You can now navigate to any page in the PDF.
- Page Rotation: You can now rotate the PDF to any orientation.
- Page Movement: You can now move pages around in the PDF.
- Page Zoom: You can now zoom in and out of the PDF.
- Page Fit: You can now fit the PDF to the screen.
- Full Screen: You can now view the PDF in full screen.
- Empty State: You can now easily get started with PDFs.
PDF to Flashcards
We've made it even easier to convert PDF to flashcards. Previously, the PDF to Flashcard modal was quite unintuitive and difficult to use. We've completely redesigned it to be more intuitive and easier to use.
PDF AI Assistant
We've been working on an AI assistant for PDFs. The AI assistant will be able to help you with your PDFs by answering questions, summarizing the PDF, and more. We're still working on it, but we hope to release it soon. If you wish to join the beta, email us by clicking the button below.
Auto Complete Beta
We've been working on an auto complete feature for Scholarly. The auto complete feature will allow you to quickly add flashcards to your notes by using the AI assistant. We're still working on it, but we hope to release it soon. If you wish to join the beta, email us by clicking the button below.
